Knitting pattern for Walter Bear and his vest.
This is an easy to knit bear designed by Sardines For Tea and highly regarded, much published designer, Sue Jobson.
This pattern includes: instructions to make Walter and his vest, a list of abbreviations, a materials list and recommended yarns. The pattern is written in English.
Techniques: You will need to be able to cast on and off, knit, purl, knit stitches together, pass slip stitch over, slip 1, yarn forward and sew seams.
You will need:
1 pair 6.5mm (US 10.5), 3.75mm (US 5), 3.25mm (US 3), knitting needles.
2 100gm Hanks of Sirdar Touch yarn in shade 0009.
Small amount of black cotton DK for nose and eyes.
1 25g ball of Ricorumi DK cotton for Vest shade 034.
Toy filling.
1 tapestry needle.
Finished size : 39cm (15 inches)
